IDE Adventure

I’ve decided to set up Neovim and try it out as my IDE for a bit. A friend of mine adopted Max from the Humane Society when he was looking for cats on their website and he fell in love with this 5 year old, grey haired gentle giant....

Gobi

I live with a dog named Gobi. She’s a delightfully energetic and affectionate miniature schnauzer. As I write this she’s lazing peacefully on the couch, flanked by me and Geetha. The three of us are watching the Strade Bianche. The season has begun (for us), Tadej Pogačar is the favourite of course and we’re itching to see where he starts his attack this time. Back to Gobi. She’s not really interested in the race, at least I don’t think she is....

Initial Commit

This website has been through so much. Once upon a time it was all hand coded HTML, CSS, and JS. As I built that out, I essentially built out my own little framework to get things done effectively. That was fun but also pretty inefficient (and tedious) after a while. Then it became an over-engineered Next/React SSR thing because I kind of just wanted to try out the hot new stack....
